- If you are coming for Carnival, get tattooed after it ends, not before. Crowds, heat, costumes and sweat are a bad combination for a healing tattoo.
- Heat and sun are year-round here, so the same rules apply as anywhere on the Caribbean coast: keep it covered, keep it out of the sea.
